What a wonderful time IPATA members had down under in Melbourne, Australia! There were 203 attendees, 131 different companies from 36 different countries around the world. Many issues regarding pet shipping where discussed at this conference including communication, global practices, animal imports into Aotearoa and Australia, AVI handling at Melbourne airport, GDPR, CEIV Live Animal Program, airline services, and shipping exotics. Exhibitors, FaceTime participants, private meetings and social activities provided networking opportunities with leading pet shippers throughout the conference allowing for valuable connections to be made with experts in the industry. |
