Requirements for Associate Membership
Associate membership is open to those who provide goods and services to professional pet shippers - such as kennel manufacturers, insurance companies, airlines, microchip distributors, border inspection posts, quarantine facilities (who do not transport pets), etc.
Prospective members are required to read and understand IPATA’s Membership Criteria, Code of Ethics and By-Laws though it is recognized that not all items would apply to all associate members.

Once approved for membership, Associate members are included in the public domain part of the IPATA website under “Suppliers”. As part of their annual dues payment, they receive a complimentary logo and active links wherever their company is listed on IPATA’s website AND their logo is included as a “Featured Member” on the home page of the website.
IMPORTANT: If you ship pets as part of your business, you DO NOT qualify for an Associate Membership. You would need to meet the requirements and apply for an "Active" Membership.
